As a leading installer of epoxy products, Barrier Group protects assets with intumescent fire proofing methods and epoxy coatings for the offshore, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, marine and civil construction sectors.
We worked with the earliest versions of epoxy products – when they were first used to protect only offshore structures – and now, we install epoxy products such as Chartek, Pittchar, Jotachar, Firetex, Thermolag and other market leading brands to provide intumescent fire proofing to a range of industries.
At Barrier, we use systems developed for blast and jet-fire resistance where thicknesses are tailored to provide fire resistance to specified failure temperatures. These systems provide resistance to mechanical damage and ensure a long service life.
We are proud to design, manufacture and install bespoke fire protection for our clients. Our intumescent fire proofing and epoxy coatings have performed so well they have exceeded the actual lifespan of the asset, particularly in offshore platforms and rigs.
We also provide technical support for manufacturers as they develop and test new systems.
